You could get all this info off the main website, but yes there are quests. If you have played games like WoW...dont expect this to be similar. It is its own genre.

You pre-ordered without knowing any of this stuff? Wow, Guild Wars reputation must be doing better than I thought.

I like to use the the PIMP description...
GW is the new PIMP of the MMORPGs while CoH, WoW, EQ/EQ2, AO, etc. are GW's hoes. |

There are two types of Quests. Large story advaning Quests, and minor quests that are given by differnet townspeople. The firghting is usually really fast paced and full of action, but not just point and click as fast as you can. There are lots of differnet places to explore. To get an idea of the size of the world an the number of place you can goto check out the maps in this thread.

I must admit, I was pretty floored by the level of graphics ability in a game that took 5 minutes to install, (keep in mind this is the beta/pre order version). The release is likely to be larger. Regardless I was like .... "Dang where did all these kick butt pretty scenes come from?! I know I didnt install 3 gigs of pretty scenery" Which just goes to show off how great their streaming technology is. Happy Gaming! |

Yea, their streaming technology, their server architecture (from what little we know), and their graphic engine are all just downright amazing. When I first logged in I was like a little kid in a candy shop. If the game completely sucked, I would still buy it to support them for all the awesome technology they have developed.

MMMmmmmmm candy, sweet succulant candy graphics of goodness that goes yum yum in my tum tum...
Yeah, I concur. I was surprised by the graphics on the beta, just breathtaking. I have already gotten my CZL team from Condition-Zero to move on over to Guild Wars, we are all psyched about it's release. Yay for the SG street team!! Heh heh heh. |

Wow talk about jumping onto a small piece of floating ice and landing on an iceberg..... Wait till you get in-game, the PvE, PvP, exploring, missions, quests, dance parties and all of the rest of the scenery will stun you. |
